This post is part one of my contribution for the For the Love of Film Noir Blogathon hosted by Ferdy on Film and The Self-Styled Siren. Be sure to donate what you can, and then click on over to check out all the entries. (Be sure to check out their Facebook page, too.) And the way things are shaping up, I should have enough material to post a new movie for every night of the week long retrospective.

I just saw "Scarlet Street" for the first time last month, and I barely even remembered "Lazylegs," yet it featured heavily in the advertising! That is the kind of thing I LOVE seeing in old ads.
I love letting the pictures do the talking; such fun. Thanks!
Thankee to the both of you. I just love the omnipresent, disembodied head of Edward G. floating around. Lots more to come.
What a wonderful set of odds. I saw the movie when I was very young and it made an impression on me.
